This course introduces the student to planning a series of Bible studies and sermons. The student will study principles of effective teaching, including planning, preparation and presentation. The course will present opportunities to prepare inductive and deductive study outlines. The student will learn how to identify the “big idea” of an individual study or series of lessons, and how to develop content around that idea. For a series of lessons or sermons the student will identify the topic, goal, objectives, and lesson outlines.
