This course in Church Law allows the student to discover why it is important to have a basic understanding of the law as it pertains to a church and its ministry. The impact of the law continues to grow and the laws continue change on a regular basis. In this course the student will study how the constitution, federal laws, and state laws affect a church. The course materials will provide a basic foundation for understanding how to conduct church affairs in today’s legal environment, and for knowing when to seek professional advice, and for understanding the answers.
