Identity Verification
Shiloh University has a responsibility to verify the identification of applicants and students. Considering the online distance learning nature of Shiloh University’s programs, this will be done as part of the application process and on a periodic basis throughout the student’s active enrollment in their program.
Proctored Exams
A certain amount of proctored exams and assignments are required throughout the student’s program of study. The proctoring process is intended to assure that the student who completes the proctored examination or assignment is the same person who enrolled in the prescribed program; and that the results will reflect the student’s own knowledge and competence in accordance with stated educational objectives.
Proctored exams will be administered through ProctorU, an online proctoring service. Student identification is to be verified through use of valid government issued photo identification in addition to other methods available to ProctorU. The student will receive specific information upon admission acceptance regarding this service.
