Step-by-Step Process

File the 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after October 1, 2019. When completing the FAFSA, Shiloh University Financial Aid Office recommends that you use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to transfer your tax information directly from the IRS onto your FAFSA. See the University aid application page for more information.
Complete a Student Interview with the Virtual Financial Aid Office.
Receive student aid report (SAR) from federal processor.
Receive award notification.
Accept and return award notification. (First-time borrowers must also complete and submit a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and complete loan entrance counseling.)
Receiving financial aid funds. (See disbursement and payments for more information.)
If you were selected by the U.S. Department of Education to complete federal verification, this must be done before you can accept the University’s award notification.
